About Sekijuku
Sekijuku is the 47th post town on the Tokaido Road, which corresponds to the current Sekimachi area in Kameyama City, Mie Prefecture.

It has been a key transportation point since ancient times, and is a post town on the Tokaido Road. It is also the entrance to the Ise-betu Kaido Road, which leads to the Ise Kaido Road, used by people visiting Ise Shrine from the Kansai region.

Even now, over 200 traditional townhouses remain along the 1.8-kilometer stretch.

About the kit
A compact reproduction of traditional Japanese scenery, laser-cut precision parts make it easy to assemble. Different colored woods are used to express the scenery painted by Utagawa Hiroshige.
