About the TOKYO STATION
Tokyo Station Marunouchi Station Building opened in 1914. It is a Renaissance-style building designed by Tatsuno Kingo, and is a magnificent three-story reinforced brick Western-style building with octagonal domes arranged from north to south.
In the 1945 bombing of Tokyo at the end of the Pacific War, most of it was burned down, leaving behind brick walls and skeletons.
It took two years to restore, and from 2007 to 2012, it was faithfully restored with a focus on the exterior by the long-sought restoration work to the original station bookstore.

 About the kit
Faithfully reproduce the three-story building and the north-south dome at the time of its construction. In addition, the wall surface on the railroad side, which is not normally visible, has been reproduced.
The precision laser-cut wooden outer wall material uses a reinforcing material that is compatible with bending.
Composed of abundant etching parts and soft metal parts, it reproduces the architectural beauty of the Renaissance style.
A light (sold separately) can be installed inside the building to make the elaborate model even more beautiful.
